I need to brag on my brother in law for just a second here. Me and Shane went to Abilene Thursday to see him play in a contest called Next To Sign Concert. There were 12 finalists and my Brother in law Tim was one of them! The winner would win a 25,000 recording contract. There were some really good musician there but our Tim won! This means that he will be able to record an entire album. The album will be "mastered" (all I know is that this means it is shipped to some big wigs to make it sound really good). Then, they will package it and will give Tim the copies to sell at concerts. Also, they will be helping to get his name out in any way that they can. We are all so so excited for him! What a day...

What a long day! My head feels like mush because I've been working on organizing receipts for my taxes. What a pain in the butt! ...But I did get my new phone in today and I like! It's a Blackjack! Look how pretty it is!

What do y'all think of these? The company I use for gallery wraps started making them. They say these are for clients who like the 3-d look of gallery-wraps but want the added style of a custom, solid wood frame.
So is this a keeper or not?

4 stars in my book!

Yesterday afternoon I went with Jenna my old roommate to see 27 Dresses and loved it! I love girlie flicks though and this one was just that. It was so sweet and made me leave the theater with such a happy feeling. I think this movie fits newly weds and engaged girls best but any age girl would love it!

New Business Cards!!

Finally! New business cards! I was really starting to hate my old ones and finally got around to ordering new ones which came in today and which I love! I love how colorful they are and how the green sticks out so much. I ordered them with rounded corners which looks really sharp and added a glossy coat on them. Anyway, I thought I'd share this little piece of excitement with you!

Oh Husbands...

Well while I was off shooting Nathan and Andrea's beautiful wedding my husband took his youth group skiing. (He's a youth minister) I got a call from him last Thursday while he was gone and he told me he broke his nose. Greaatt... So, today we are heading back to Abilene to take him to the Doc to get his nose set. SICK. I'll let you know how it goes, but I'll be out of touch for a few days. Next week I have 3 sessions so be looking back for those! Have a great weekend!

Last Friday was Andrea and Nathan's wedding. It was so fun. I grew up with Nathan so I saw so many people I hadn't seen since my wedding. Congratulations you two! Have fun in Mexico!!
