back from vegas!

I'm baackkkk! I got back into Lubbock yesterday at 7 p.m. and was so exhausted. I wound up taking a 2 hour nap this afternoon! The anti workshop kicked booty and I learned tons of information! I can't wait to put it into practice! Here's a couple pictures with some of the amazing photographers I met. More to come later...

Today I'm leaving at 12:55 p.m. for LAS VEGAS NEVADA to attend the ANTI WORKSHOP!! I'll be back Saturday night so if you're a client I'll return your emails and phone calls when I return. I don't know how this week will go and I don't know how much I'll be able to blog! So I'll see y'all on Sunday!!

Way to go Lauren! You got it right! And yes I do shoot manual so now I understand why that didn't apply to my raw shot.
So maybe I'm not seeing this amazing difference that everyone else seems to be seeing.... any words of advice from people with more experience shooting raw??

Experimenting...

I've been looking at some blogs and both Rachel Brooke and Lauren Clark are talking about shooting raw. So I went out in my backyard with my model Raider and tried to experiment a little bit with raw. I think I'm having a hard time with it. Both of these pictures were shot on the same setting. One is in raw and one is jpeg. I didn't mess with either picture- they are both straight out of the camera. Can you guess which is which??

KÀ Cirque du Soleil

On Wednesday evening me and Karie (my roomie for Vegas) are going to see KÀ Cirque du Soleil! I am sooo excited! I saw a little video of KA here and think it looks amazing! I had called Vegas.com a few times to get advice and every time I called they recommended this show.
Now I've got to get back to getting ready to leave!! I'm such a last minute packer....

4 days!!

Tomorrow it will be 4 days until I jet off to Las Vegas!! WOO HOO!
