I've been really trying to think of ways to glorify God in my business. I need help thinking of ideas! My friend Lauren gives away a free wedding a year to someone who is in need and I love that idea but I want to see what other ideas I (and hopefully you) can think of! Let me know if you can help me by telling me your thoughts and ideas!
This is a preview of Leslie and Dustin's engagement session that I shot yesterday. More to come soon!

I wanted to do the same thing Sarah! I decided to do something for families that had been through tuff times! I actually just shot my first family yesterday and there are some pics of them on my blog...go check it out and tell me what you think! See you round!
I love that your heart is in the right place. Praise God, for He is good!
Ummm, my brain is a bit fried at the moment, but I will email you if I think of something;)
you know, it may sound so cliche', but praying for your clients is so powerful...and to actually commit to doing it and following through with it will reap rewards that we may not see until heaven...there's just so much going on in the world today--so many worldly things--is seems you can't talk to anyone who isn't in some way effected by divorce, disease, pain, etc...so that's something that i want personally for myself and for my business--to pray for the people i will be shooting (you know how stressful it can be, especially for families with little ones and brides, etc) to get ready on your "picture day"...and satan is always looking for a way to steal our joy...so i would like to pray before the shoot and then continue to ask for HIS guidance during the shoot--i want for HIM to reveal HIS glory through me...and show me the beauty in all HIS creations...
sorry for the long comment...it's just something that's been on my heart for a while...feels good to share it!
hugs,
candace
thanks candace! i love that!
i appreciate you ladies advice!
There might be some kiddos out at the Children's Home of Lubbock that would like to have their picture taken. Lynn Harms is the director and a friend of mine. Give him a call if you are interested.
