my new toy!

We just got back to Lubbock last night and this morning I went to the post office and found this new toy waiting on me! I would recommend the 200 mm to anyone considering the 70-200 mm! It's less expensive, it weighs about 80 pounds less and it's tack sharp! I'm really excited about having this baby for my upcoming weddings!
Speaking of babies I cannot wait to show off my niece! I really have the cutest little niece you guys have ever seen and I got to spend so much time with her in Abilene this weekend. Which means I got a ton of pictures of her! I'm about to go through all my favorites to pick some to show y'all!

Abilene

Today me and Shane are in Abilene, our hometown. We're visiting both sets of our parents along with our siblings and cutie patutie little neice. I'm sure you'll be seeing her picture after this visit. We're here to have family pictures done. Shanes side is doing Christmas card pics and my side is just taking some updated pics. What a crazy weekend! I'll be blogging more when I get back to Lubbock. Have a great weekend!!

Hello blogger world! It's been nearly a week and I'm sorry I've been neglecting you. I feel in my profession sometimes it's easy to let your computer become a huge part of your day and it's good to once in a while step away for a bit. I've had a pretty busy week. I went out and shoot with my friend Jenn Wall and I threw my best friend a surprise birthday party. Naturally I forgot my camera for that. Anyway, I'm back and I'll be better about blogging. Tonight me and my husband went on a date. I love dates! Here's some pictures of us before we went out.

Brittany & Matt Engagement IN AUSTIN

This is one of my favorite sessions ever if not my very favorite! I had an amazing couple and an amazing city! I'm telling ya, I'll be moving to Austin as soon as I get outta school! Thank you Matt and Brittany for an amazing time! Ya'll are awesome. It even rained during our session, but it didn't get these two down. I can't wait until y'alls wedding in November!

I got back from Austin yesterday after an AMAZING shoot. I just love Austin now! There are so many places to get great pictures. I told Shane that I want to move there now.
